I founded Artful Word in 2002 to meet the needs of individuals, non-profit organizations, and small business owners for affordable, creative, personalized and professional communications services. After 25 years working for non-profit organizations in the areas of communications, program development, operations, training, and administration, it was time to make a Big Change. 

I am an innovative problem-solver as well as accomplished interviewer, writer, editor, and designer. I listen to and respect the goals of my clients, meet deadlines, and design creative products to match my clients’ tastes and budgets.

I am also a mother, daughter, sister, friend, confidante, music-lover, political junkie, encourager, avid learner, seeker, and life adventurer who believes in living creatively and joyfully. I see the humor in most things and laugh whenever possible. And I believe in getting up when I fall down and always moving forward while glancing back.
